7 Elegant Wall Mirrors to Bring a Little Sparkle to Any Room

Mirror mirror on the wall…which one’s your favourite of them all?

A go-to trick to make any interior feel brighter, bigger, and more polished? The perfect wall mirror.

Whether perched above a console in the entryway for a quick lipstick check on your way out the door, or anchoring the fireplace while reflecting the light from adjacent windows, mirrors are a favourite of interior designers everywhere.

Why do Interior Designers love Wall Mirrors?

A decorative wall mirror is ever-changing art

While a statement art piece — like a painting, photograph, or tapestry — brings new colours and textures to a room, a wall mirror doubles down on what’s already in place. This means, no matter how you shift your room’s palette or patterns, you never have to worry about your mirror clashing. A statement mirror simply gives you more of what you already love.

Wall mirrors make your spaces feel brighter

Mirrors don’t just reflect back pattern and colour — they reflect light. Whether daylight from an adjacent window, a soft accent lamp, or the flicker of candlelight, you get double the impact. This is especially helpful in rooms with small windows or limited natural light.

Large wall mirrors give the illusion of more space

Because mirrors reflect space, they create an extension — a world beyond just the wall. Especially helpful for small spaces, this opens up a room and creates the illusion of more space — while still keeping things cosy.

Looking for a statement wall mirror? Here are 7 of our favourites

1.   Ria Mirror

Talk about a showstopper. Our Ria Mirror is the large statement mirror you’ve been looking for. This vintage inspired mirror is oversized — 103 x 144 cm — with detailed scrolls and gold leaf details.

Hung above a dresser, sofa, or the fireplace, Ria is sure to reflect ample light and create a sense of spaciousness in any room.

2.   River Mirror

This ornate wall mirror packs a major decorative punch. At 54 x 115 cm, it’s the perfect size for a last-minute hair check by the front door. We also love it for a major wow moment above the sink in a powder room.

No matter where you hang it, the River Mirror is sure to impress with its scrolling gold leaves, weathered finish, and bevelled glass.

3.   Bailey Mirror

Looking for a vintage-inspired full-length mirror? Bailey brings all the ornate charm of River and Ria, with a few extra details to really make her shine.

At 180 cm tall, this decorative full-length mirror is perfect for adding a little drama at the end of the hallway, turning every stroll into your own red carpet moment, or in the dressing area as you perfect each day’s ensemble.

4.   Pendant Mirror

A round wall mirror that’s modern-yet-timeless? We’ve got you covered.

With clean lines, curves, and a copper patina, our Pendant Mirror is at home in any space. And at 76 x 93 cm, she’s the perfect size for just about any room. We especially love the crisp round shape juxtaposed with a dramatic floral arrangement or vase of wild branches on an entry table — providing balance and doubling your impact.

5.  — 7. Provence Mirrors

We love the Provence Mirror so much we’ve given you three sizes to choose from!

● Small 60 x 80 ● Medium 90 x 124 ● Large 100 x 160 cm

No matter which size you choose, the Provence Mirror’s clean lines and gentle curves are equally at home with a bold floral wallpaper or a moody, more minimalistic space. The weathered gold frame and bevelled mirror edge make Provence a timeless wall mirror that never goes out of style.

Where to hang a decorative wall mirror for the most impact

Before hanging a mirror, double check that you like the view it’s reflecting. For example, we love a mirror above the fireplace, but if it’s leaning back at an angle, you might end up with a bland view of the ceiling above, instead of framing your beautiful chandelier. Play with the height and the angle to ensure you get exactly the view you want.

A few of our favourite spots to hang a statement mirror in your home

Found your favourite wall mirror? Here are some great places to hang it:

●      Above a dresser or chest of drawers. It’s a great way to ground the space, especially when flanked with some sconces or lamps.

●      In the entryway. Everyone loves a last-minute makeup check on their way out the door. Plus, a mirror can make even a tight entryway feel more spacious.

●      Across from a window. Reflecting the natural light — or a stellar view — makes any room feel more open and airy.

Hanging a mirror isn’t the same as hanging art, though. You have to think not only of size and scale, but what view it’s reflecting back.

Where NOT to hang a wall mirror

Doubling your view isn’t always a good thing. Here are 5 places to never hang a wall mirror:

●      Opposite the front door. We love an entry mirror — but not on the wall directly across from the entry, where it will certainly startle your guests every time they enter.

●      Opposite a shower or toilet. Enough said, yes?

●      At eye level in the dining room. No one wants to stare at themselves while eating. If you want to hang a mirror above a dresser (which we love, by the way) just ensure it’s high enough to be above eye level when seated.

No matter your style or space, our mirror collection has the elegant wall mirror you’ve been looking for.
